Early Buyers Save Up to $10,000 at Randall Highlands
Februrary 3, 2006
Wiseman-Hughes is celebrating the February 11 opening of Randall Highlands by offering the first six buyers $10,000 in savings; the next four get $5,000.
But house hunters who aren't among the first 10 buyers should not despair. Everyone who buys at Randall Highlands this spring will receive special pre-construction pricing at the 186-townhome-community in North Aurora.
Randall Highlands is at the southwest corner of Orchard and Randall roads. Four luxury townhome plans, each with a two-car garage, are offered as follows:
• The Inverness, a two-story, two-bedroom, 2-1/2 bath home with 1,730 square feet, basement, options for a third bedroom or finished garden level. It is priced from $258,900.
• The Aberdeen, a raised ranch with two-bedrooms, two baths, 1,890 square feet, and finished lower level. It is priced from $269,900.
• The Cameron, a 2-1/2-story, two-bedroom, 2-1/2 bath home with 1,895 square feet, basement, dual master suites, a 1-1/2 story living room and an option to finish the lower level. It is priced from $270,900.
• The Dundee, a 2-1/2-story, three-bedroom, 2-1/2 bath home with 1,965 square feet, first floor master suite, finished lower level and optional loft. It is priced from $276,900.
"Certainly, the early birds will get bigger savings, however, our pre-construction pricing will only be available for a limited time," said Gail Payonk, director of marketing for Wheaton-based Wiseman-Hughes. "Once the models open this summer, prices will increase."
Payonk added that Randall Highlands' townhome designs -- with brick exteriors and porches with colonnades -- are reminiscent of Chicago's Astor Street.
Inside, the main attraction is a flexible floor plan system that helps customers select a plan and tailor it to their lifestyles.
"Want a two-story living room, loft or bonus room? At Randall Highlands, you'll simply choose from the variety of flexible floor plan options to find the home you've dreamed of," said Payonk.
Randall Highlands will offer maintenance-free living, communities typically of interest to busy professionals and empty nesters. Snow removal and lawn care will be handled by professional service companies.
Then, there's the convenience of Randall Highlands' location. The community is just a few minutes from Int. 88, via the Orchard Road north exit. Plus, nearly 200,000 square feet of shopping is under development adjacent to the community and another 400,000 square feet of shopping is less than two miles away, with a Woodman's grocery store opening this spring.
Standard features at Randall Highlands include nine-foot first floor ceilings, six-panel doors, Colonist trim, pine stairs and half walls, brushed nickel light fixtures, brushed chrome Schlage entry hardware, programmable thermostats, interior sprinkler systems, Armstrong flooring in foyer, baths, kitchen and laundry room and wall-to-wall carpeting in living areas.
Kitchens will have General Electric appliances with self-clean ovens and sealed burners, four-cycle dishwashers, 42" Merrillat cabinetry, disposer, Kohler double-bowl sink, Moen chrome faucet, pantry and refrigerator waterline.
Baths include Corian countertops with porcelain bowls, Moen chrome faucets and hardware, and decorator mirrors.
Energy-efficient features include Carrier furnace, Rheem 40-gallon water heater, 13-SEER air conditioner, Dow house wrap, steel insulated garage door and steel six-panel front door with sidelights, per plan.
Options include kitchen cabinet crown molding, luxury master baths with separate showers and Kohler whirlpool tubs, security systems, fireplace, and finished basements.
