Making Home Happen
They claimed they were just an ordinary family with extraordinary circumstances.

"Who gets a house?" said Taunacy Horton. "It's just us. So overwhelming,"
she said as she dabbed her tear-filled eyes. "I'm just a small town girl from Idaho and he's (Josh) just a dad. We're just an ordinary family with extraordinary circumstances."

Wiseman-Hughes' commitment to "Making Home Happen" certainly rang true as they gave Josh and Taunacy Horton a brand new $450,000 home.

"I spoke with my partners and we all eagerly agreed to donate this home," said Jim Hughes, executive vice president of Wheaton-based Wiseman-Hughes. "It was just the right thing to do for a family who has served our country so willingly and bravely."

This past year
Wiseman-
Hughes climbed to the top, receiving the Summit Award
from Professional Warranty Corporation (PWC) and
Zurich American Insurance. Hundreds of builders partner with PWC, which provides extended warranty service and policies to builders, but Wiseman-Hughes was one of only two builders nationwide to receive this prestigious award.

"Wiseman-Hughes has a truly outstanding record of customer service and satisfaction," said William Kenny, PWC National Marketing Director. "Unquestionably, Wiseman-Hughes is one builder customers can count on as they meet the highest standards of customer satisfaction."

"We believe in going the extra mile for our customers," said Nancy Johnson, director of customer service and warranty for Wiseman-Hughes. "For nearly 50 years, we have built our reputation on delivering only the highest level of quality to our customers. Our ongoing commitment to our customers ranks us over 94% in satisfaction among our thousands of homeowners. And, we consistently see multiple generations of families purchasing homes in our communities. It's just another of the many reasons why one of every four buyers refers their family and friends to us."
